Wetland Delineation is a process analyzing site conditions, existing vegetation, and soil properties to create a detailed description of wetland areas located on a specific property. The information is gathered and compiled into a report that points out the amount of wetlands currently in existence on the property. Wetland delineation is often a necessary component of the permitting process. This allows the government agencies to evaluate the impact of your project in your overall area. The wetland delineation report includes the following:
Soil mapping Vegetation mapping/cataloging Aerial overview Report of findings Detailed pictures of the area
Delineations differentiate between regulated and non-regulated areas within a property’s boundaries. This is a required component of permitting to perform a project in compliance with the regulatory agencies. |
